Minotaur

Minotaur is a sculptural headpiece that embodies the passage of time, endless, cyclical, both life-giving and decaying. Rooted in the Greek myth, this figure wanders the labyrinth alone, untouched by the flow of hours yet marked by it: moss and plants grow upon him, bearing traces of seasons and centuries.

He stands as a symbol of eternity, carrying life and its inevitable end within the same form — a reminder that time moves forward relentlessly, while never letting go of the past.

Exhibited in Destruction Junket: Urban Mythologies in Manhattan.
